Academic Curriculum: The LLB program typically consists of a comprehensive curriculum that covers various areas of law, including constitutional law, criminal law, contract law, property law, tort law, administrative law, and more. The curriculum may also include legal research and writing, legal theory, ethics, and professional responsibility.

Core Legal Subjects: LLB programs usually have core legal subjects that provide a broad understanding of the legal system and its principles. These subjects establish the foundation for more specialized legal studies later on. Core subjects often include legal systems and methods, legal theory, legal history, and legal skills development.

Elective Courses: LLB programs often offer elective courses that allow students to focus on specific areas of law based on their interests or career goals. Electives may include subjects like family law, international law, intellectual property law, environmental law, commercial law, human rights law, and more.

Legal Skills Development: Alongside legal knowledge, LLB programs emphasize the development of practical legal skills. Legal Research

Legal research refers to the process of finding and analyzing legal information to address legal issues, support legal arguments, or provide guidance in legal matters. It is a crucial skill for lawyers, legal professionals, and anyone involved in legal decision-making. Legal research involves locating relevant statutes, regulations, case law, legal doctrines, secondary sources, and other legal materials to understand and interpret the law.

Here are some key steps and considerations in legal research:

Identify the Issue: Clearly define the legal issue or question at hand. Understanding the specific problem or topic will help in conducting targeted research.

Primary Sources: Primary legal sources are the fundamental authorities that establish legal rules. They include statutes, regulations, constitutions, and court decisions. Begin by researching relevant statutes and regulations that pertain to the issue. For court decisions, consult case law databases, court websites, or legal research platforms to find relevant judicial opinions.

Secondary Sources: Secondary sources provide analysis, commentary, and interpretation of the law. They can help in understanding and contextualizing legal principles and concepts. Examples include legal textbooks, law review articles, legal encyclopedias, and treatises. Consult secondary sources to gain a deeper understanding of the legal issue and locate references to relevant primary sources.

Legal Databases and Online Resources: Numerous online databases and resources offer access to a vast collection of legal materials. Some popular ones include Westlaw, LexisNexis, Bloomberg Law, and Google Scholar. These platforms provide search functionalities and filters to narrow down the results and find relevant legal authorities efficiently.

Keyword Searches and Boolean Operators: When conducting online legal research, it is essential to use appropriate keywords and employ Boolean operators (e.g., AND, OR, NOT) to refine search queries. Carefully choose search terms that accurately represent the legal issue to obtain more precise results.

Shepardizing or KeyCiting: Shepardizing (for Westlaw) or KeyCiting (for LexisNexis) is the process of verifying the subsequent history and validity of a case or statute. This step ensures that the legal authority you are relying on is still good law and has not been overturned or modified by subsequent court decisions or legislative actions.

Updating and Validating Information: Laws can change over time through new statutes, regulations, or judicial decisions. Make sure to verify that the legal authorities you find are up to date and still valid. Check for recent updates and developments in the law that may affect your research.

Analyze and Synthesize: Once you have gathered relevant legal sources, analyze and synthesize the information to form a comprehensive understanding of the legal issue. Identify the relevant legal principles, precedents, and arguments that apply to your case or legal question.

Citation and Documentation: It is crucial to properly cite and document the legal authorities you rely on in your research. Follow the appropriate citation style (e.g., Bluebook, APA, MLA) and maintain accurate records of your research sources for future reference.

Legal research is a skill that improves with practice and experience. It requires critical thinking, attention to detail, and an understanding of legal principles and research methods. Additionally, staying updated with recent developments in the law and utilizing technology and online resources effectively can enhance the efficiency and accuracy of legal research.

Qatar - A Land of Business & Opportunities

Getting my first Job in Qatar in fact my first job out of my city and Country, is

absolutely one of the great blessings from my ALLAH Alhamdulillah.

It was 23/01/2023 afternoon around 2:30 PM in India, my phone rang up,

and it was a number starting with +974 of course Qatar country code.

Another side one gentle man was asking me whether I was interested in doing a

job in Qatar? It was like a goose bumps moment for me as my dream was

about to be fulfilled Alhamdulillah. Actually I had created an account on one of

the job portals and the gentleman from Qatar picked my details from that portal.

I instantly said yes and after all visa processing and documentation finally

I landed in Qatar in the holy month of Ramadan on 02/04/2023.

Myself Gulam Mustafa Alansari from India, I have done BCA

(Bachelor of Computer Applications), LLB (Bachelor of Laws), MA

(Master of Arts in Islamic Studies). Before coming to Qatar I was working as

Administrative Assistant cum IT in-charge in one the largest school groups.

But I used to dream about Qatar when I used to hear news of Qatar state

favouring the oppressed people worldwide. And somehow I was in

desperate need to change my current job because I was failing to fulfil some

religious duties for example my school was in remote area and I had to

fabricate new excuses every Friday to join congregational prayers though

they were allowing me to go as per short leaves.

When I used to leave for office in early morning every day I used to ask

Allah to please grant me such an environment which would be beneficial

for this world and beneficial for hereafter life too.

Allah blessed me with a Qatari Job offer Alhamdulillah. This is the country

where I grew exponentially alhamdulillah. It has been saveral months and I

feel like new gate of opportunities have been opened up for me Alhamdulillah.

The freedom expats do get here in Qatar is unmatchable than anywhere else

in the world and the growth chances for the workers from different

nationalities and cultures offered also unbelievable.

Qatar is a new global hub which is most suitable business destination in
